"Compagnie au pied du lit" offers shows for hospitalized children of various ages. We perform on the room table that is positioned at the bottom of the bed. The plays, performed by one or tow puppeteers last about ten minutes. They are offered in keeping and agreement with the children, the medical staff and the families. The concept of the shows is based on different puppet techniques. The stories are supported by pronounced aesthetics, opening on poetical universes in order to create magical moments. Puppet is a real invitation to projection.

We tried to develop, from the constraints of the puppets theatre, various spaces where every story could be carried out. Our issue is to open, at the time of the performance, a window on other views than those of a hospital room. Each story tells of a character who, facing an event, asserts his own singularity. We were in a playful mind when looking for these forms and wanted them to be cheerful.
