Director's intention notes
It’s the story of a woman, Dorothy Parker. It was a long time ago. It is now. The stories of an American woman. The story of American women in the days of Prohibition, which is also, incredibly, the time of American women’s vote. The story of a resistance fighter, of an author, novelist, screenwriter, great writer of the famous Newyorker.
